Youth invited to enter Art on the Street poster design and contest

GUELPH – Guelph Arts Council and the Downtown Guelph Business Association are extending an open invitation for youth participants in the poster design and contest for Art on the Street 2023.

The winning design will be colourful, creative and showcase what art means to the creator.

The chosen design will be published in all Art on the Street promotional material.

Additionally, the winner will also receive a $150 gift card to Wyndham Arts and $150 “downtown dollars.”

The top three designs will be displayed at the Guelph Arts Council Booth on the day of the event.

The contest is open to all youth artists (ages 21 or younger) from Guelph and surrounding areas.

The entry can be any 2D medium (painting, digital, drawing, etcetera) that can be scanned in high resolution, or a good-quality high resolution photograph of a 3D piece of artwork (jewelry, sculpture);

Entries must be submitted online by 11:59pm on March 5.
