“Yarn Bombing” installation at Fergus walking bridge

FERGUS – Yarn bombing, or yarn graffiti, is a form of street art where public objects are wrapped or covered in yarn. An installation of yarn was placed on the walking bridge over Wellington Road 18, near the Wellington County Museum and Archives, on Sept. 21 to celebrate the start of Culture Days. The yarn will be removed at the end of the Culture Days Festival, and will be donated to local animal rescue organizations for them to use as blankets for rescued cats and dogs.
