WUNDER, Thomas

Elora, ON - It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband, Thomas Wunder. My heart said stay but my mind had to let Tom go, his strength was at the end. Tom was predeceased by his two sons Rick and Ron. Tom leaves behind his grieving wife, Herta, of 62 years of marriage. Tom will be remembered for his kindness and help for others, but also for his strong handshake and contagious smile. Tom was a stroke survivor who never gave up. He gave me daily strength and together we overcame many obstacles. Tom was born in Germany and came to Canada in 1957. He became a true and proud Canadian with love for this country. He loved the outdoors, nature and the beauty of the Northern part of Ontario. A special thank you to our friends here who were always only a phone call away and gave their time freely, to Dr. Incitti and her team and to Tom’s PSW’s. A private family service has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Elora.
