WILSON, Mildred Ruth
Passed away peacefully on November 3, 2020 at Groves Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. Mildred was born on December 30, 1932 and was the daughter of Percy and Ruth (nee: Martin) Mitchell and grew up at Shand’s, West Garafraxa. She was one of 6 children; predeceased by George (Florence), David (Beth) and Wilma (Gord), survived by Walter (Pat) of Dunnville, and Ken (Ruby) of Alberta. Mildred married Jim Wilson (deceased 2013) on April 19, 1952. Together, they had four children; Brian (Cathy) of Stratford, Dan (Karen) of Strathroy, Don (Liz) of Burlington and Janet (Mike) of Fergus. Mildred will be dearly missed by her grandchildren; Sarah of Vancouver, David (Katie) of Waterdown, Cameron (Alex) of London, Quinn of Strathroy, Mathew of Toronto and Scott of Burlington. Mildred will truly be missed by her family, many nieces, nephews and dear friends who have so many great memories of her. Family and friends visited on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. A private funeral service was held. Memorial donations may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital.
