Alfred Joseph Wilson, of Conn, passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, on Thursday, September 5th, 2019 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Doreen Wilson for 68 years. Loving father of the late Carol and her late husband Rick Gilder, Morris Wilson, Brenda and her husband Brian Hutchison, Murray Wilson and his wife Donna, Janice and her husband Gary Gambrielle, Marsha and her husband Stephen Shaw, Randy Wilson and his wife Wanda, and Rodney Wilson and his wife Debbie. Sadly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Minnie McNeish, Vietta Watson and Nora Gray. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by 11 siblings. A funeral service celebrating Alfred’s life was held at Faith Baptist Church, 485 King Street East, Mount Forest (King Street East and London Road) on Wednesday, September 11th at 1:00pm with visitation being held at the church prior to the service from 11:00am – 12:45pm. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or Monck Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
