Peacefully at Braemar Nursing Home in Wingham, Wilma (Watson) Williamson formerly of Mount Forest and Gorrie, passed away 10 days before her 99th birthday on Sunday December 7th, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Lyle Watson and Earl Williamson. Devoted mom of Don & Donna Watson, Jack & Lynne Watson of Listowel, Linda & Peter Dinsmore of Gorrie, Murray & Tania Watson of Marathon, Carol & Doug Kopp of Mount Forest, Norm & Sheri Watson of Gorrie and the late Garry Watson. Cherished grandma of seventeen and great-grandma of twenty-four. Predeceased by her parents Albert & Vera (Gamble) Heibein, brother Bill (Joyce) Heibein and sisters Margaret (Glenn) Underwood and Jean (Freeman) Ingleton. A Celebration of Wilma’s life was held at the family farm, 2100 George St. Gorrie, Ontario on Friday, December 12th, 2025 from 1:00-3:00pm. Final resting place, Gorrie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Howick Optimist Club would be appreciated by Wilma’s family.
