WHHS teacher and students create Remembrance display
Remembrance display - Teacher Ken Kivell and his students put up a Remembrance Day display on the front lawn at Wellington Heights High School in Mount Forest on Nov. 5. Kivell has been coordinating a display of small, white crosses on the lawn at WHSS for approximately 10 years. Each small cross has the name of a local veteran from the Mount Forest or Arthur area who died serving Canada in the First World War or Second World War. This year, Kivell added some metal poppies to the display and arranged the small crosses in the form of a large cross. The school also recognized Remembrance Day with a virtual assembly on Nov. 11.
