West Luther 4-H Cloverbuds learn about plants

WELLINGTON NORTH – The West Luther 4-H Cloverbuds had their third meeting on June 4.

Members tried different foods, and learned that some foods can be planted together and some cannot.

For example: carrots cannot grow with lettuce.

We made dips for food and ate vegetables and fruit skewers.

We learned that water goes through sand faster than other soil which means that the plant might not have enough water to grow.

We also decorated pots and then planted seeds to take home.

We got a coupon for a free pumpkin from our meeting host Ashley – the best part of the meeting.
