WESSELINK, Stephanus Johannes “John”
Of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Sally for 55 years. Loving father of Steph and Ray Ough of Listowel and Jeannie and Wade Rafacz of Cochrane. Loving grandfather of Daunte, Liam, Makayla and Anakin. Dear brother Ben Wesselink and Sandra Laidlaw of Atwood and Berny and Cathy Wesselink of Durham. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents John Sr. and Hennie Wesselink. To honour John’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. A masonic service was held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 4:00pm by Harriston Lodge #262. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Shriners Children’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
