EDEN MILLS – A new season of Music at the Hall kicks off on Sept. 27 with a performance by the Wellington Wanderers at the Eden Mills Community Hall.

“The Wellington Wanderers are a stage-full of seasoned musicians,” stated a news release announcing the show.

The band features Wellington County musicians Steven Noonan on guitar, ukulele and vocals; Diane Corlett on vocals and ukulele; Grant Campbell on guitar and vocals; Ross Clarkson on percussion; John Solberg on piano; and Pam MacInnes on guitar and vocals.

“After last year’s popular successes, they invite you to join them for a new serving of well-known tunes,” the release said.

Their 7:30pm show, Rural Roots #2, promises “an evening of timeless popular songs, including hits such as Bobby McGee, Margaritaville, Leroy Brown, On the Road Again and Sweet Caroline.

“Music at the Hall programs concerts and events to keep the village hopping, and to raise funds for the Community Hall operations,” the release said.

The heritage building, which is also carbon neutral, “is known for its excellent acoustics, professional sound system and fine dance floor,” it said.

Doors for the Wellington Wanderers show open at 7pm.

Tickets are $20 for adults or $10 for students. They can be purchased online at edenmills.ca or at the door.

The hall is located at 104 York St. in the heart of Eden Mills.
