Wellington North council supports Arthur severance application
ARTHUR – Council here supports an application to sever a residential Arthur property in half.
The property, located at 7 to 9 Duke Street in Arthur, is set to be severed into to equal lots, each 390 square metres with a semi-detached home.
The property is being severed so that each half of the two-unit residential building can be owned separately.
Wellington county planning staff say the application is consistent with provincial policy and generally conforms to the county’s official plan.
Council voted unanimously in support of the application without discussion.
