Wellington Heights Wolverines Jr. Boys Soccer team takes home District 4 Title
MOUNT FOREST – The Wellington Heights Wolverines Jr. Boys Soccer team, coached by Matt McFarlane, had an exciting season this year and captured the District 4 Championship title. The Wolverines finished first during the season, and competed against the Erin District High School Raiders in the District 4 Championship Final. The Wolverines cruised to a 7-1 victory over Erin and advanced to the CWOSSA Championships at the University of Guelph Soccer Complex on Oct. 26. Wellington Heights competed very well against some much larger schools, but they unfortunately came up short, losing to Kitchener Collegiate Institute and Centennial Collegiate and Vocational Institute from Guelph.
