Wellington Heights hosts Special Olympics soccer tournament
Special Olympics – The rainy weather did not dampen the spirits of Wellington Heights Special Olympics Soccer athletes as they battled schools from across the district on Oct. 17 at the high school in Mount Forest. Several soccer teams from Guelph, Orangeville and north Wellington, including Norwell District Secondary School in Palmerston, took on the Wellington Heights Wolverines. Submitted photo

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington Heights Secondary School teachers Christine Chambers and Brittany Heffernan and head of special education Adam Teeter organized a Special Olympics soccer tournament at the high school on Oct. 17. It included athletes from Guelph, Orangeville and Wellington County.
