Summer concerts – While summer is passing by festivals are still ramping up and the Wellington County Museum and Archives still has many events planned, many for children. On the evening of Aug. 4, in keeping with the museum’s Thursday summer concerts, the museum put on two distinct musical events. The first was a local folk group called “The Fair Wind,” playing mostly down east music.

On the evening of Aug. 4, in keeping with the museum’s Thursday summer concerts, the museum put on two distinct musical events. The first was a local folk group called “The Fair Wind,” playing mostly down east music.
The Fair Wind was followed the Fergus Pipe Band playing a few tunes that will also be featured at the upcoming Fergus Scottish Festival. Still to come on Aug. 11 is “Southwind” and on Aug. 18 is Nick Gush and Pam Davis.
