Washroom next to trail removed
Hikers walking along the Elora Cataract Trail here will soon be lacking a pit stop.
Credit Valley Conservation notified the town recently the washroom at the Erin parking lot along the trail will be removed “for the immediate term.”
The facility had little use and over the past several months there has been significant vandalism.
Town manager Lisa Hass said the CVC will consider reinstating it in the summer months if user demand arises.
“Plan accordingly,” she quipped.
