of Drayton went home to be with her Lord at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in her 85th year. Wife of the late Elbert Walter for 55 years. Beloved partner of John VanDriel of Drayton. Cherished mother of Bep Vandenberg and the late Jake Vandenberg (2017) of Drayton and the late Jim Walter (2021) and Liz Walter of Moorefield. Loving Oma and Great Oma of David and Rachel Vandenberg, Mikayla, Kiersten, Brooklyn and Tyler; the late Mark Vandenberg (2000); Melissa and Cody Gleeson, Kylie, Morgan and Cohen; Bob and Jenn Walter, Austin and Hailey; Katrina and Greg Schnieders, Madison, Milliscent, Magnolia and Maci. Sister of Sidney and Janet de Waal of Texas. Aunt of Amy Mattoon and C.J. de Waal. Fondly remembered by her many friends. The family received friends at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. The Funeral Service was held in the Drayton Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00am. A link will be available below Dicky’s notice on the funeral home website.
