WALLACE, Evelyn (Lyn)

Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace Saturday December 21, 2019 in her 73rd year. Lyn will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years Gordon Wallace and her four daughters Teresa Hatch (Kim), Tammy Coverdale (Randy), Tina Quinn (Brad), Nicole Leduc (Adam Brown) and her 13 grandchildren, Kyra Quinn (Tyler), Nick Hatch (Jenn), Brett Coverdale, Alex Brown (Amber), Tim Hatch, Hannah Brown, Mariah Coverdale, Matt Quinn, Emma Brown, Brayden Leduc, Jordan Leduc, Dylan Quinn, Grace Hatch, and 3 great grand children Kaydence, Carsyn, and Havenlynn. Also mourning her loss are her siblings Marie Farrelly and Colin Andrews (Brenda). Lyn was pre-deceased by her parents Homer and Burnie Andrews and her sister Katherine. Lyn was born in Clinton ON but moved to Fergus at a young age where she in time met her husband Gord and eventually raised their family there. Lyn worked at RR Donnelly (formerly Moore Business Forms) in Fergus for 43 years. Many people will remember Lyn for her infectious smile, her love for dancing and of course her infatuation for anything Elvis. Her greatest love was always for her husband, daughters and their families. Lyn created many special memories with her family by going on fun family vacations, camping at Conestoga Campground and cheering on her family members at many sporting events. The family received friends at Graham Giddy Funeral Homes, Fergus Chapel 280 St. David St. South, Fergus ON. Visitation will be was held Monday December 30th from 11:00am -1:00pm followed by a funeral service and reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Alzheimer’s Society of Waterloo-Wellington, The Wellington Terrace or Groves Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
