ARTHUR – It was Hockey Day at the Arthur Community Centre on Jan. 3, with U5 to U21 teams from Arthur, Mount Forest, Orangeville, Grand Valley and Walkerton taking the ice. Entry was by donation to the Arthur Food Bank. The event included a firefighters versus Get in Touch for Hutch charity game, chuck-a-puck during intermission, a fastest shot competition, face painting, vendors, team bake sale and lunch by the Arthur OptiMrs. The event was sponsored by Pinestone Construction, the Township of Wellington North, Wellington Dairy Producers and Egg Farmers of Ontario.
