Very costly January for roads

While one might think the lack of snow was a good thing over January, it turns out to be playing havoc with municipal roads budgets.

At a recent Puslinch meeting, roads superintendent Don Creed told councillors “It’s been a very costly January.”

He explained, “The freeze/thaw cycles are really something to deal with [on gravel roads].”
