VELDHUIS, Helen Marie nee Smith
of Palmerston passed away after a courageous 25 year battle with cancer, at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, November 15, 2021 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Veldhuis (1993). Cherished mother of Michael and Carol (Martin). Dear grandmother of Jacob. Helen will be missed by her sisters Jean and Gladys. Helen will be missed by her constant companion Benn. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held. The family would like to thank Penny and Shaun of the North Wellington Cancer Clinic for their constant support.
