In the Lord’s timing he called home his child Eddie Vandervelde on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Wilma (nee Vis). Loving father of Glen & Nancy, †Ron & Mary, †Paul, and Michelle & James Farnsworth. Cherished grandfather of Jeremy & Joanne, Tiffany & Aryen Bosma, Stephanie & Dylan Hamming, Christa & Simon Ardelean, Matthew & Anneke, Esther, Justin & Dani, Rachel, Candace, Amber, and Elizabeth, and great-grandfather of Riley, Scarlett, Tanner, Caleb, Blakely, Raylan, Harley, †Austin, Elijah, Gideon, and Evan. Will also be missed by siblings, in-laws and nieces and nephews. A visitation and service were held at Elora Canadian Reformed Church. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
