Of Drayton Early on December 4, 2023, one week after her 85th birthday, and surrounded by the love of her family, Diny went to join her husband Wayne Vanden Hazel (2016) in the arms of the Lord. Lovingly remembered by her children: Janette and Richard Wooddisse, Joan Vanden Hazel and Phil Brown, Evelyn Wintermeyer, and Sandra Flinkert. Cherished Grandmother and great Grandmother of Jennifer Wooddisse and her partner Zac Rohrmann, Laura Wooddisse; Kira Vanden Hazel Brown, Kurtis Vanden Hazel Brown; Jacquelyne Wintermeyer, Sarah Forester, Nicole Forester; Dina Flinkert, Hannah Flinkert, Alyssa Flinkert, Sophia Flinkert. Great grandmother of Emslie. Sister of Jake (Alice) Visscher, Alida Zantingh, Jan (Lucy) Visscher, Teresa (Jake) DeHaan and Hillie (Fred) Numan. Predeceased by siblings Albert Visscher, John (Willie) Visscher, Trijntje Visscher, Janny Jeltje Visscher, Jean (Henry) Katerberg, brother-in-law John Zantingh and sister-in-law Aafke Visscher. The family received friends at the Drayton Christian Reformed Church 88 Main St. E., Drayton on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm. Pastor Wes Collins will conduct the funeral service in Drayton Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2:00pm. Internment at the Drayton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Waterloo Wellington, or to the Wellington Terrace, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
