U.S. ‘values democracy’

Dear Editor:

Don’t fall for Carney’s trip to China to negotiate rather than doing everything he could have done to negotiate with U.S. President Donald Trump or even other ally countries.

Carney is doing it again.

Carney has an election coming and he is trying his best to make this another Trump election. We are not being successful supporting these dangerous moves with China.   Mr. Carney is playing Canadians again.

Canadians needs a leader who will address what Canadians need and Carney is very wrong for our nation.  Stand up in this next election and don’t be duped again by a leader like Carney who has not proven to be “consistent,” to put it politely, and has led Canada into economic mess with lack of support for the real needs of Canadians.

It is only now that he has even shown concern for our economy and pipelines. Watch and see. He wants our oil sold to China, a communist country, rather than negotiate with our neighbours to the south who value democracy and freedom and who would help us defend these values in a war situation.

China won’t defend democracy and freedom. No good will ultimately come from this. Don’t be fooled; Canadians are being sold out.

I believe the last time Carney visited China was to negotiate a $250-million loan for Brookfield Asset Management from the Bank of China.

Also, why isn’t our press talking to the Venezuelans who had to escape with virtually nothing to come to Canada and are happy the dictatorship in Venezuela is removed. Could Trump be right?  

Canadians, we must not be duped again!  Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has the experience, the drive and Canadian values to lead with integrity and truth.  

Ask Michael  Kovrig,  who was held by China for 1,019 days what he thinks of Carney’s trip to negotiate with China. Or ask Sam Cooper, a  Canadian investigative reporter and author of Wilful Blindness, what he knows of China’s interference in Canada’s political system and other?

Please vote for freedom and democracy in Canada and vote for Poilievre. Carney’s proposed laws all reflect control and his agenda, not our agenda as Canadian voters. Carney took with him to China Markham–Unionville MP Michael Ma, a Conservative who crossed the floor to become a Liberal and betrayed his voters.

Canada needs to stand on guard for our democracy and freedom.  Please use critical thinking and vote for freedom and democracy in the next election, not Mr. Carney.
