Two artists receive Arts Council award

GUELPH – The 2019 Youth Opportunities Award, presented by the Guelph Arts Council will be shared between the Guelph Tool Library and Simone Racine.

The Guelph Tool Library  offers affordable hands-on programs aimed at building resilient communities.

Racine is a Grade 11 student at John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute in Guelph who has been actively involved in the Guelph Youth Council.

Both recipients will offer different opportunities for youth in Guelph and Wellington County to become engaged in artistic endeavours.
