ELORA – Tubing at the Grand River Conservation Authority’s (GRCA) popular Elora Gorge Conservation Area is now open.
Tickets and parking permits must be purchased online and in advance through the online ticket system by both the general public and Grand River Conservation Area membership pass holders.
Tubing first opened June 21 and 22, from 10am to 6pm for the weekend only (weather permitting) and again beginning June 25, from 10am to 6pm, seven days a week (weather permitting), until Labour Day.
Tickets can be purchased up to three days in advance.
An approved tube, helmet with chin strap and personal flotation device (PFD) are required.
Participants may bring their own or may rent all components in advance as part of the equipment rental package. The last registration and equipment rental is at 4pm daily (no exceptions).
Tubing may close without notice for various reasons, including high river levels (i.e. over eight cubic metres per second).
Tubing at Elora Gorge requires participants to walk along the roadway for approximately 1.3 km (each way) when going to and from the entrance and exit points of the river. All participants must complete an online waiver prior to attending.
Tickets must be purchased online.
The cost of tubing registration without equipment rental is $21 per person.
The complete equipment rental package (includes registration fee) is $54 per person.
A security deposit of $75 will be required for all equipment rentals.
More information on the Elora Gorge admission and tubing fees can be found on the fees webpage.
