TROUP, Alexander John “Alex”
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Hanover & District Hospital on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Joan Troup (October 7, 2025). Loving father of Kelly and her husband Mark Keffer of Varney, the late Bill Troup (2020), and Sandy Troup of Holstein. Cherished grandfather of Jessica Keffer and her fiancé Paul Sherry, Victoria Keffer, Amanda Keffer and her partner Em Douma, Austin Walsom, and Tyler Troup. He was predeceased by his parents Grace and Melvin Troup, sisters Norma Porter, and Noreen Nelson and her husband Paul. A heartfelt thank you the staff at Hanover & District Hospital for their care and compassion. A come and go celebration of Alex’s life will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Saturday, December 6th from 1:00-4:00pm with sharing of memories at 2:00pm.
