Tree Trust offers Read a Tree workshops
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Have a passion for trees and want to take that passion to the next level?
Read a Tree workshops offered by Tree Trust, are small group experiences designed to teach you how to understand and care for the trees around you.
Learn how to identify tree species, assess tree health and ask the right questions to tree care professionals.
“If you’ve attended our Inventory Experience, this workshop is a perfect next step to deepen your knowledge,” officials say in a press release.
The workshop series is taking place over three Thursday evenings this summer in Elora and Fergus.
The cost for all three sessions is $15 – ideal if you want to learn more. But if time is tight, the cost of just one workshop is $10. They will be led by Master of Forest Conservation Braedon Witt.
Officials thanked the Fergus-Elora Rotary Club for sponsoring the workshop series.
Registration is limited to 20 so sign up by June 14 is encouraged. For more information or to register visit treetrust.ca/centre-wellington.
