Tree Talk to provide Eden Mills carbon neutral update

ELORA - The Neighbourwoods Winter 2020 Tree Talk will feature an update on the Eden Mills quest to become carbon neutral.

Linda Sword is the speaker for the event on  Feb. 5, at 7:30pm, at the Elora Centre for the Arts, 75 Melville St. in Elora.

Admission is free for members, $5 for non-members.

Sword has been involved with Eden Mills project since 2007, and prepared the handbook So You Want to Go Carbon Neutral.

She has also been an arts administrator and writer, working with the Canada Council for the Arts, the board of the Elora Festival and Grand Philharmonic Choir, and the board of the Concerned Residents Coalition fighting a proposed quarry near Rockwood.

Neighbourwoods officials thanked Tree Talk sponsor Elora and Salem Horticultural Society.
