ELORA – Tree Trust is holding another “Tree Talk” — this one about understanding the role and impact of forest fires globally.

The session is slated for Nov. 13, 7:30 to 8:45pm, at the Elora Centre for the Arts. It is free to NeighbourWoods members and $10 for non-members.

Tree Trust program manager and master of forest conservation Braedon Witt, will talk about the science and history of fire while addressing common misconceptions.

“Are you concerned about the surge in global forest fires? Want to understand how we got here and what role forests, ecology, culture and past management practices play? Then this talk is for you,” organizers state.
