Township hosting key projects open house

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township of Centre Wellington is holding another key projects open house – an opportunity to learn about all the major projects the township has planned for 2025 and ask questions of key township staff.

The event is slated for May 29 from 6 to 8pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.

Key projects to be showcased include:

- storm rate study;

Community Engagement Strategy;

County of Wellington Emergency Management;

Active Transportation and Mobility Plan/Church St. Quiet Street pilot;

sewer use bylaw;

Belsyde Cemetery Block D Phase 2A Expansion;

Craighead Cottage renovation;

Water bylaw update and water use restrictions;

new well areas 3 and 7, public information centre one;

Backflow Prevention Program;

legislative services (bylaw and Guelph Humane Society);

termite management program;

urban forestry and parks - Wilkie playground replacement, forestry education and projects, BT Corner;

Belwood Hall;

parks and recreation plan; and

downtown parking.
