Township hosting key projects open house

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township of Centre Wellington is holding another key projects open house – an opportunity to learn about all the major projects the township has planned for 2025 and ask questions of key township staff.

The event is slated for May 29 from 6 to 8pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex. 

Key projects to be showcased include:

 – storm rate study;

– Community Engagement Strategy;

– County of Wellington Emergency Management;

– Active Transportation and Mobility Plan/Church St. Quiet Street pilot;

– sewer use bylaw;

– Belsyde Cemetery Block D Phase 2A Expansion;

– Craighead Cottage renovation;

– Water bylaw update and water use restrictions;

– new well areas 3 and 7, public information centre one;

– Backflow Prevention Program;

– legislative services (bylaw and Guelph Humane Society);

– termite management program;

– urban forestry and parks – Wilkie playground replacement, forestry education and projects, BT Corner;

– Belwood Hall;

– parks and recreation plan; and

– downtown parking.
