Township hopes for smooth development
During the annual mayor’s breakfast on Jan. 28, Centre Wellington Mayor Kelly Linton said “We’re doing everything we can as a township to make sure things go smoothly.”
He believed the process still includes Landmark coming to the township with additional site plan information and more specifics of its plans especially in the area north of the Grand River. He also believed there were still outstanding applications with the Ministry of the Environment and GRCA because it is in a floodplain.
“And sometimes the Ministries don’t move as fast as we’d like.”
