Wellington North is gearing up for its upcoming business showcase event, says township tourism, marketing and promotion manager, April Marshall.

“We have a wide array of businesses in Wellington North to serve all of our needs,” Marshall said. “Our community is full of passionate and skilled people that deliver their products and services in a friendly manner. But how do we know what is available to us in our own community?

“Wellington North Showcase creates a platform for business services, retailers and organizations to make the right connections to create local camaraderie that benefits business and the consumer.”

The Township of Wellington North Business Networking Reception takes place at the Arthur and Area Community Centre on March 24 from 5 to 8pm. Local businesses and community leaders are encouraged to attend this networking opportunity.

The trade show opens to the public on March 25 from 1 to 8pm and will feature displays and products from local businesses and organizations.

This event is open to the  public to attend free of charge with donations to the Community Pantry accepted at the door.

Sponsorship of the event is provided by the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation, TD Canada Trust, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Ministry of Rural Affairs, as well as, both the Arthur and Mount Forest Chambers of Commerce.

Display booths are available for a nominal fee of $25 to participate.

For those who wish to register for a display table, or for more information about the event, contact Dale Small at dsmall@wellington-north.com or April Marshall at amarshall@wellington-north.com or call 519-848-3620.
