Township considers amalgamation anniversary event
KENILWORTH - Wellington North’s Cultural Roundtable recently discussed the 20th anniversary of amalgamation and the question of having a celebration to mark the milestone.
Economic development officer Dale Small and clerk Karren Wallace asked if the committee is interested in doing something. The committee agreed to organize an open house at the municipal office in Kenilworth in conjunction with Culture Days in September.
At its next meeting the committee will designate a lead and bring a resolution to council.
