Towns fill meeting held
In yet another step to address fill concerns, town council here has held another meeting.
A special council meeting Sept. 27 included a review of relevant Municipal Acts sections, Grand River Conservation Authority policies and Credit Valley Conservation procedural guidelines for receiving and processing fill applications.
Following that, groups considered various aspects of the issue and presented summaries.
Registered delegations included Loretto and Philip Bender, Ed McKelvey and Ryan Lawrence.
The new step for council is to determine a direction regarding the bylaw as it stands, or if recommended changes should be incorporated into a new bylaw.
