Town successful in skateboard park application
Town manager Lisa Hass was pleased to report to council last month the town was successful in its bid to secure funding from the Farm Credit Corporation’s AgriSpirit Fund.
Erin received $6,100 to purchase modular equipment for its proposed skateboard park.
Hass noted that while the town had applied for $10,000, it got $6,100.
“We’ll take that,” she said.
“If you don’t ask, you don’t get,” added Mayor Lou Maieron.
