Town of Erin named among top employers
ERIN – The Town of Erin has been recognized as one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers.
Organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the editors behind Canada’s Top 100 Employers, the annual list highlights organizations that set the standard for progressive workplace policies and employee support, Erin officials say .
Now in its second year, the competition evaluates employers on eight criteria: workplace; work atmosphere and social, health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
Town officials say Erin was recognized for its robust health and wellness programs, family-friendly policies, a comprehensive benefits package, staff social events and ongoing investments in professional development.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers,” stated Erin CAO Rob Adams in a press release.
“This award reflects our commitment to the Erin community, empowering staff to do their best work, advancing the town’s strategic plan to effect tangible, positive changes across the municipality.”
Town clerk Nina Lecic stated Erin staff members “play a critical role in turning community priorities into action. This recognition ... reflects the dedication of our team and the meaningful work they do every day to advance important projects, policies, and strategic plans for the benefit of the entire community.”
