TOMLIN, Ruth Emma (Pearson)
Of Pike Bay and formerly of Palmerston passed away peacefully at Gateway Haven on Monday, July 2, 2026 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Larry Tomlin for 63 years. Cherished mother of the late Chris Tomlin (2008) and Shelly McIlmoyle, Cindy Cooke of Calgary, Steve and Stephanie Tomlin of Elora. Grandmother of Thomas Tomlin, Elizabeth and Dak Yungblut; Rachel and Mitchell MahPoy, Danielle Cooke; Jillian Tomlin and Allison Tomlin. Great grandmother of Evelyn, Cora, Barret, Parker and Maysie. Sister of Jim Pearson. Sister-in law of Ruth Anne Savage and Elaine Melville and Bruce and Judy Tomlin. Predeceased by brother Dave Pearson, brothers-in-law Kevin Tomlin, Howard Savage, Ken Melville. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 1:00 to 1:45 followed by a funeral service of remembrance at 2:00pm. Interment Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
