TOMBS, Irene (nee Lawrence)
Of Arthur passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, November 8, 2020 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Tombs. Loving mother of the late Robert Morton, Thomas Morton of Arthur and Laurie and Dennis Smith of Kenilworth. Grandmother of Sheena Morton, Scott Morton, Eric Kaiser, Crystal Kaiser, Hillary Gillies and Brian Finch, Matthew Gillies, Evan Gillies. Great grandmother of Loghlan and Taven Morton, Lilliana and Ridley Finch. Sister of John and Kay Lawrence Lindsay, Mary McCormick of Owen Sound. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Olive Jaques, Daisey Grimsby and Bernice Eagles. A private family service was held in the Durham Trinity Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Wellington Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur.
