Tin Can Classic Feb. 1 in Moorefield

MOOREFIELD – Tin can curling will be returning to Moorefield next month.
Tin can curling, with paint cans doubling as curling stones, was one of the first events organized by the Moorefield Optimists over 50 years ago. It was resurrected by the club in 2018.
The 2020 Tin Can Classic will be held on Feb. 1, weather permitting, at the club’s outdoor rink on Ball Avenue.
Hot food and cold drinks will be available at the licensed event.
