Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign raises $8,446
ERIN – Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) Wellington-Guelph is celebrating the success of this year’s Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign in Erin, which raised $8,446 in support of the YWHO Wellington-Guelph Main Place Erin Hub.
From April 27 to May 3, community members purchased Smile Cookies at the Erin Tim Hortons restaurant.
Through this annual campaign, 100 per cent of proceeds from every Smile Cookie sold are donated to local charities and community organizations across Canada.
Funds raised in Erin directly benefit Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario Wellington-Guelph, helping to support youth aged 12 to 25 in the community.
The Erin Hub, part of YWHO WG, provides an integrated “one-stop” space where young people can access a range of services, including mental health support, primary care, education, employment assistance and social services.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the Erin Tim Hortons team and the entire community for their support,” stated executive director Jeff Hoffman in a news release.
“This campaign demonstrates what’s possible when a community comes together to invest in young people.
“These funds will help ensure youth have access to the care and resources they need to thrive.”
