The Bears give Fergus something to cheer about
FERGUS – The Bears (Cheerleading) of Fergus travelled to Sandusky, Ohio on Nov. 18 and 19 to compete in the All Star Challenge: Queen of the Nile acrobatics competition. The Bears were one of only two cheerleading clubs from Canada attending. Two teams from the Bears were entered.
The Polar Bears team won first place and received the Champions title in the Level 1 Junior Division (ages 13 to 16), while the Blossom Bears placed fifth in the Level 1 Youth Division (ages 7 to 12). In February 2023 the Bears teams competed in the “Quest of the Southwest” Cheer Challenge, bringing home first and second place finishes.
