TE WINKEL, Bertus Hendrik “Bert”
Was called home to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 12, 2026 in his 94th year. Dear husband of Dinie te Winkel and the late Hennie te Winkel (2007). Loving father and grandfather of Wilbur and Cheryl te Winkel and their son Caleb of Kitchener and Trudy and James Latuns of Kitchener. Brother of Henry and Lilian te Winkel of Waterloo. Brother-in-law of Dinie Hesselink of Drayton. Bert will be missed by Dinie’s family John Hoogendoorn, Sidney and Teresa Hoogendoorn, Mary Ann and Miles Miller, Titia and Rolf Emrich, Elizabeth and Jason Veenstra and Ben and Nadine Hoogendoorn as well by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The funeral service was held in the Palmerston Missionary Church on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:00am. Spring interment in Drayton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
