TAYLOR, Brent (Robert McMeekin)

Passed away Monday October 26, 2026 suddenly at home. He was born on January 11, 1947 in Brampton, Ontario. Brent leaves behind his dear wife, Donna Taylor, and his stepchildren, Stephanie and David Schill, and Aimee and Matthew Kustermans. He was a proud Poppa to Emma and Zak Rivard, Claire and Jarryd Davidson, Abby Schill and Devan Benoit, and Drew and Ava Kustermans, and Great Poppa to William Rivard. Predeceased by his parents Lorne and Phyllis Taylor. Brent retired from Pearson Airport in 2008 and soon made Palmerston his home. In retirement, he enjoyed golfing and spending winters in the south. For 57 summers, his second home on beautiful Clear Lake offered cherished friendships, life by the water and stunning sunsets. His family treasures memories of holidays together and time spent at the lake. The family thanks the Palmerston Dialysis team for their years of care and support, and the many other doctors who cared for Brent in his later years. To honour Brent’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service was held in James Street United Church, Palmerston.
