Taste Real Launches special holiday edition of the Farmers’ Market Box from local markets

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The award-winning Farmers’ Market Box series, coordinated through Wellington County’s Taste Real program, is offering a Holiday Box this year.

The Holiday Box features products from all eight local farmers’ markets, including Aberfoyle, Elora, Erin, Guelph, Mapleton, Minto, Rockwood, and Wellington North.

“The special Holiday Box features a curated selection of delights from farmers, makers, producers and artisans, in Wellington County and Guelph,” said economic development officer Christina Mann.

“This is a great opportunity to get seasonal, local food and products delivered directly to your doorstep and it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to support local businesses this holiday season,” she added.

Boxes will be available for order until Dec. 6 or when sold out with pick up or delivery to homes across Wellington County and Guelph on Dec. 13.
