SUTTON, David Bruce

Of Morriston, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Sunday, June 23, 2024 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Colleen Sutton (2017). Loved father of Vicki (Steve) Marshall, Wendi (Aaron) Marshall and Eric (Natalie Van der Maaden) Sutton. Cherished Poppa of Owen, Tyler, Hannah, Mckinley, Dean and Layla. Son of Audrey Sutton and the late George Sutton. Will be fondly remembered by his siblings Joan (Larry) Schwenker, Peggy (the late Don) McInnis, Helen (Rob) Miller, Glenn (Mary Beth) Sutton, his siblings-in-law Sharon (Bert) Hill, Linda (the late Ron) Wilson, Tom (Linda) McDonough, son in law to the late Murray and Marie McDonough, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dave was a longtime employee of the Township of Puslinch and the Puslinch Fire Department. Dave was passionate about family, friends, baseball and car racing. He will be greatly missed by many neighbours, friends and all whose lives he touched. Friends will be received at the Puslinch Community Centre, 23 Brock Rd. S., on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 4:00-6:00pm. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at 6:00pm. Special thanks and gratitude to all of the Nurses that cared for Dad in the Whispering Oakes Wing at St. Joseph’s. Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph’s Heath Centre Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of David B. Sutton in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
