Summer programs being explored
Expanded capabilities at the Puslinch Community Centre might pay off for younger folk in the community.
Recreation chairman Wayne Stokley told Puslinch council May 2 about the potential of such programs.
“In the future, because of the facility and the ORC [Optimist Recreation Centre], we can start looking at summer programs.”
He said it would not start this summer, because it is uncertain what would be happening with some of the facilities.
“We’re starting to look towards the year 2013 as far as programming and how our township can best use its facilities and perhaps develop some summer programs.”
