SULLIVAN, Ryan

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Ryan Sullivan, age 33, of Fergus, Ontario. Ryan was the cherished son of Linda and Garry Sullivan (2021), beloved brother to Andrew (Jasmine), and fun-loving uncle to Benjamin, Chloe, Sophie, and James. He was the beloved nephew of Ray (Trish) Sullivan, Joanne (Bill) Davidson, Sandy (2011) (Tom) Basler, Debbie (2021) (Don 2023) Mackenzie, Brenda (Ron) Schepper, Ed (Patricia) Bouwman, Fred (Evangeline) Bouwman, Sharon (Mike) Kors, Sandra (Mark) Baguley, Keith (Rini) Barney, Sheila (Brendan) Keane, and Kathryn Barney. He is survived by numerous cousins and friends. Ryan was a cheerful and energetic young man who grew up in Fergus. From an early age, he loved being active and in his younger years enjoyed playing hockey and lacrosse. Music was also an important part of Ryan’s life. He had a passion for drumming and guitar, and he loved listening to a wide variety of music. Ryan will be remembered for his big smile and hearty laugh. He had a great sense of humour and was quick with a one-liner. He was a sincere friend and loved being in the company of others. He shared an especially strong bond with Andrew. Growing up, they had lots of fun and enjoyed many adventures, including ATVing, dirt biking, fishing, boating, biking, family vacations, and great times at their Opa’s cottage in Wilberforce—treasured memories. Ryan’s passing is a tremendous loss for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his good nature and kind spirit; performing a daily act of kindness would be a great way to honour him. We take comfort in knowing that he and his dad, Garry, are reuniting after five years, two beautiful souls together again, along with their little pooch, Sadie.
