STEWART, Donald Alexander
Of Guelph, formerly of Puslinch, passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 31, 2026 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Florence J. (nee Swanston, 1999). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George Stewart and Annie Clark and his brother William (Bill). Donald was a former employee of the Township of Puslinch, former volunteer firefighter for the Puslinch Fire Department and was a member of Duff’s Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 10 – 11am. A funeral service will begin in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Burial will take place at Crown Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. Memorial contributions to the Duff’s Presbyterian Church, Crown Cemetery or The Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Donald (Don) A.
