Stephen Thorning book launch at the Elora Centre for the Arts
Well-known author and historian Stephen Thorning would have turned 74 on May 8, which made it a great day to launch his book at the Elora Centre for the Arts. Thorning had tucked away the manuscript and his sister Susan Thorning and the local historical society took on the project of getting the book published. Elysia DeLaurentis edited the manuscript and 1,000 copies were printed. The launch was well attended. From left, Susan Thorning, DeLaurentis, and Kathy Bouma of the historical society hold copies of the book.
