STAHLBAUM, Donald Joseph “Joe”

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away in London, Ontario on July 24, 2026, with his family at his side, at the age of 65. Born in Guelph, Ontario on January 1, 1961, Joe lived a full life defined by hard work, adventure, and an unwavering devotion to the people he loved. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Diana; his children Daniel (Rebekkah), Kyle A., Owen, and Megan, and stepson Kyle R.; and his grandsons, Hudson and Porter. He is also survived by his mother, Doris, and his sisters, Laurie, Janet, and Tammie. He was predeceased by his father, Don, in 2019 and his brother Lonnie in 2006. Joe grew up in Guelph with a lifelong passion for cars and the open road. An operator by trade and an entrepreneur at heart, he owned and operated several successful businesses over the years. Outside of work, he was happiest camping, exploring the outdoors, wrenching on cars, spending time at the drag races, and hanging out with his cats. Joe was known for his generosity, he’d give someone the shirt off his back without a second thought and for showing up when it mattered, day or night, no questions asked. Joe wasn’t one to back down from a challenge, and he wasn’t one to take no for an answer. He loved his family fiercely and instilled those same values in each of them. A private celebration of life and funeral will be held at a later date with close friends and family.
